Theatre and Art collide in a TheARTrical explosion of the senses when Apotheque Lifestyle Spa becomes the stage for Theatre Arts West’s Boxing Love with Shakespeare’s Woman, and the delectables of some of Oceanside’s locally crafted culinary artisans, as well as potions of the spa itself, become characters in a production that will take audiences from balcony to garden to rooms whose histories date back to the boom of the 1880’s and which will now set the stage for Shakespeare’s most famous lovers, Frida Kahlo, Napoleon and Josephine and new characters penned by Southern California playwrights and a composer who were inspired by the art of Oceanside artist, Blake Kern. (Kelly Halloran will sing her original song, "Glistening Rain" which she composed for this production.)

Performance dates and times: February 6th, 8th, 9th 10th, 11th, 12, 13th at 7:30 p.m. February 7th, 14th at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and include the performance, a gallery exhibition, a gift bag which includes discounts from local businesses, champagne (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday performances), tea and sherry (Sunday performances)
